Why are there only PS3 vs. Xbox 360 debates?

The PC does not have enough of a share, or niche to be in the market for a gaming console. The points you make are very good points, but most people dont see it, because it can do too much to be conisdered a console. The game variety for consoles is also much stronger than PC as well. Power wise, I must disagree somewhat. Note that yes, a computer is more powerful, but the norm is that most people must spend $300+ to play a game they can play on their Xbox or PS3 guaranteed. I tried to game on a PC for awhile, and gave up simply because of the price tag of a high end PC. You are right, the PC makes a good console, I just dont think the idea of it being a "console" will catch on.
