What movie is this? It involves a former-teacher tutoring a kid in a cabin and his face is scarred?

...that was 1993's "The Man Without a Face", and it was a very powerful and emotional film, which actually convinced me that Mel Gibson could actually perform outside of the wise-cracking 'Lethal Weapon' persona...and do it quite well!!!
