Troubleshooting question on my Casio Exilim Digital camera.......?

My casio Exilim Digital camera turned off all of a sudden and the lens did not go in fully. I tried chargigng it but yet would not turn on.When I press the power on, the green light flikers and the camera makes a noise but cannot turn on. The screen is black. Please help me as I'm madly in love with this camera. How can this problem be solved?
