Were the unions in England to blame for the demise of all our industries and skills.?

Of course they were to blame. Take that stupid idiot Arthur Scargil, leader of the miners union. Our previous leader Gormly used to negotiate with the coal board and come back to us and say, Ok lads here is the best deal I could get, do you want to accept it or not. He always gave us the final say. That nut case Scargil and I think I was the only miner in the uk to see what a prat he was , used to come back from negotiating and say, Ok lads here is the best deal I could get and I am telling you, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT IT, we had no choice. What a prat. I started to look at things from a different angle, I asked myself what would I do if I was management.
