Ohio-Hubby's bizarre reaction ends up Domestic Violence Charge?

It is an M1 DV charge. We were talking and laughing and he start yelling, put his arm around my neck, pulled me to him--and I was driving ! I was in a dead end, no traffic. I panicked, stopped the car, snatched the keys, and proceeded to bail. Fearing the police coming, he scooted into the drivers seat and I fell on the ground. The only injury I had was some abrasions from getting caught in the seatbelt. A guy saw and called 911. The cops came, I filled out a report, and went to a friends house. My hubby called me there, picked me up, took me home, and went to work. Later he came home and we talked and made an appointment with a counselor. The police walked into my house and took him away. My hubby was in the Army for 3 years and a Detroit Police Officer for 5 years. He has no record, we get along great--what the heck was that !? PTSD ? I explained to the prosecutor that he is never like this at all. We've been married almost two years and we don't even fight. How much time ?
