How do I get a kitten to eat?

We have a 7 week old kitten. He went to the vet for a week to treat an eye infection, but came back small and without appetite. The vet says he's a little dehydrated from not eating, but that's it. We brought him home because we thought a familiar environment would help him, but it hasn't yet. He drinks some water and nurses, but eats almost no solid food anymore, when he used to be the chow hound of his litter. Any ideas? We've tried water, boiled chicken & broth, kitten food (wet & dry).
